The ELI Badminton Racket - Mini is part of the Easy Learning Initiative (ELI) by Talbot-Torro. This innovative learning concept has been developed to make badminton more accessible within schools. The range consists of rackets specifically designed for children, tailored to different age stages. Within the ELI programme, players progress step by step from Mini to Junior, Teen and ultimately Advanced rackets, with each version aligned to the player’s development.

For children aged 4 and above, the Mini version features a drop shape head. With this head shape, the sweet spot is positioned higher in the racket head compared to a traditional badminton racket. This compensates for the fact that young players often react slightly later and do not always hit the shuttle in the centre of the head. As a result, even when the stroke is not perfectly executed, the shuttle is more likely to make contact with the sweet spot.

In addition, the racket is equipped with a shortened shaft specifically tailored to young players. This prevents the racket from hitting the floor as easily and makes it feel lighter and more comfortable during early badminton practice. Thanks to this combination of grip support, age specific dimensions and an adjusted sweet spot, the racket provides an accessible and structured introduction to badminton.
