The ELI Badminton Racket Junior is part of the Easy Learning Initiative (ELI) by Talbot-Torro. This innovative learning concept has been developed to make badminton more accessible within schools. The range consists of rackets specially designed for children, aligned with different age stages. Within the ELI programme, players progress step by step from Mini to Junior, Teen and ultimately Advanced, with each version tailored to the player’s development.

For children aged 6 and over, the Junior version features a drop-shape head. With this head shape, the sweet spot is positioned higher in the string bed than in a traditional badminton racket. This compensates for the fact that young players often react slightly later and do not always hit the shuttle in the centre of the racket. Even when the stroke is not executed perfectly, the shuttle is therefore more likely to hit the sweet spot.

In addition, the racket features a shortened shaft specifically adapted for young players. This reduces the chance of the racket coming into contact with the floor and makes it feel lighter and more comfortable during training sessions and lessons. Thanks to this combination of grip support, age-specific dimensions and an adjusted sweet spot, you create an accessible and structured next step in badminton education.
