The Outdoor Slammer – 225 cm Projection by Schelde Sports is the longest projection beam within the modular Outdoor Slammer range. Manufactured from galvanised steel and conforming to EN-1270 standards, it is built for dependable long-term outdoor use. This component must be fitted to the Outdoor Slammer – Basic Mast and is intended for installations where maximum space beneath the basket is preferred.

The 225 cm projection is a suitable choice for courts where safety and freedom of movement beneath the basket are an important consideration. By creating the greatest distance between the mast and the ring, it helps reduce the risk of players making contact with the post during jumps, rebounds and close-range play.
As part of the modular Outdoor Slammer system, this projection beam allows the installation to be adapted to the intended environment. A polyester backboard with fixed ring offers a more traditional basketball setup, while an antivandal steel backboard and ring are better suited to locations with unsupervised use. The beam can also be mounted on both sides of the mast, allowing a duo-court setup with different ring heights on one structure.
